Muay Thai

some traffic to this section

I just noticed that I've been getting some traffic to this section of the site. This is kind of surprising because this entire site gets almost no traffic because it's pretty much just a site I use to keep track of my own personal workouts.

Needless to say it's been a few months since I've been to TKO, but I still definitely recommend them.

Taking a little break from Muay Thai

I'm taking a little break to get into better shape.

I know that sounds a little weird, but I find that my Crossfit workouts are helping me get into shape faster than Muay Thai classes are. Crossfit also take _much_ less time to do. I want to commit myself to Muay Thai when I have a little more free time.

My end goal is to compete in (and of course win) an amateur fight and I can't commit to spending enough time in the gym right now to do that. I think that my best path to doing this is to get into amazing shape via crossfit and then when I can dedicate the 6 months I believe it will take me to properly train for the fight I will be in great shape already to do it.

OktoberFist

There are several club fighters fighting at Oktoberfist this coming Saturday (October 20th,2007). Doors open at 1pm, fights start at 2pm.

Should be a good night.

2nd class, bought membership

Bought my membership at TKO. It was only $160 for 3 months, which is a GREAT deal.

It's a really good club that produces good fighters. Best Muay Thai club in Kitchener/Waterloo.h
